Various updates

Today I got my first snow delay as an actual paid teacher..uh but does that mean I get paid less for the day? I can't wait to be under contract so I can cross my fingers for snow at all times.

Speaking of school, I started doing my long-term sub job in elementary school last Tuesday. I am only three days a week so it will be another week before I meet the kids who would've had art in those two hours we were delayed. I want to know all the kids already because I am incredibly tired of going over the classroom rules.

Nate's ankle is looking a lot better. I totally dropped the ball on the whole ankle shot of the day thing but maybe I can make some gruesome slideshow in the future with all those shots.

Nate and I have an appointment with a REAL ESTATE agent tonight. The earliest we would buy anything would be when this lease runs out. I am hoping they're not a high pressure sort. It's going to be hard for me not to just speed walk through each place and then say yes or no. I am going to have to politely listen to talk about water heaters I'm sure. It will certainly be weird since the only conversation I can remember having with a real estate agent through all the many hours I spent with them as a kid was this lady getting irritated with me because I wanted to see if she had one of those holes in the backseat to let skis come through from the trunk. I guess she didn't want me and my sister prying up the leather on the backseat of her Lexus. What a prude!
