Nearly Forgotten Awesome Thing: "The Stand" miniseries

I first saw "The Stand" miniseries when I was in 6th grade or so and was totally transfixed. I'm not sure if I had started reading Stephen King books yet or not... Anyway, It's also the only movie I have ever found Rob lowe attractive in, probably only because of the amazing character he plays. I haven't even thought about this movie version until yesterday when I discovered that the sci fi channel was playing it all day long. It took a total of nine hours, and it's a wonder it wasn't longer since commercials seemed to be literally every five minutes. Since I was feeling awful, I of course watched bits and pieces all day. It was worth it. Check out these pictures and see who you recognize...I'm terribly surprised that every member of "Step by Step" isn't featured here, or at least Patrick Duffy.




Oh, Tom Cullen and Nick Andros...I am too sick to feel like explaining their awesomeness. The bottom picture is Tom Cullen's house. Recognize Tom from "Coach?"

Look-Parker Lewis! Yes, Parker Lewis is an evil gross dude in this movie! Don't forget Molly Ringwald who is like Gary Sinese's pregnant lady but not by him.

Nate pointed out to me that this dude was Max Headroom-see how star studded this movie is?!

Larry makes it through the tunnel! Somehow Larry was never heard from before or since this movie...

Other people in this movie, which is by the way about a plague since I failed to mention that: the woman from "Just Shoot Me"-the boring daughter one, Alf's dad, Miguel Ferrer (if you saw him you'd recognize him), Kareem Abdul-Jabar, Ed Harris, and the devil is Jamie Sheridan who is another dude you'd recognize if you saw him.
