the coldest days on record (with me anyway)
I really wanted to post something ultra serious about astrophysics after that squirrel post but I got nothing. Then I wanted to post this picture of the blood brothers and make a Bea Arthur/Golden Girls joke about the bleached hair guy but I felt guilty reposting a photo from a site that specifically asks you not to. Anyway, those aren't going to happen.
Let's see, what's new...it's the coldest outside that I think I have ever had to experience and I totally hate it. It really boggles my mind how outside it's less than ten degrees with the windchill and inside our apt is 70 degrees, so inside is 60 degrees warmer, but yet it's still cold. I feel like I should be able to wear a bathing suit inside or something but I might even be colder INSIDE. Like right now...I am so cold and 85% of my skin is covered and I have a blanket. Geez. Terrible.
Also, I have no idea what is supposed to happen if little kids say "sucks" or "crap"...does that count as cursing? I hope not. After all my time in high school hearing the f-word over and over, it's really very hard to be shocked.
I found a new way to wear my hair. It's pretty cute.
I changed up my i-pod. Here's the first five songs on shuffle:
Pete Krebs and the Gossamer Wings- Distant Lights of Home
Alkaline Trio- Steamer Trunk
The Cure- The Walk
Alkaline Trio- Trucks and Trains*
Interpol- NYC
*I'm beginning to think the whole shuffle concept is a bit underwhelming. The other day on shuffle all it would play were the Kenny Rogers cover songs I downloaded for free. I expect shuffle to be a bit more amazing and random. I want Kenny Rogers and then Interpol and then Bread...I just counted the number of artists on my i-pod and I stopped counting at 50. There are about 500 songs on there. This current sort of shuffling quality would be better suited to someone's 13 year old brother who is too unimaginative or lazy to not use the same band twice within a five song span.
I think that's about it.
