If you want to get together with a bunch of people that only want to talk in serious tones about the state of affairs at their particular school, take education classes. If you want class to be 15-20 minutes longer than it has to be because people need to tell you how THEY construct graphic organizers or give french tests, take education classes. If you're hoping to meet the most humorless group of overly confident people on earth, take education classes. Why, if they are so informed, are they taking education classes anyway? Fortunately, there are about ten people in the program that know how to laugh when something is funny and I have located several of them.

The awesome thing about taking these classes is that I can see that I am going to be a good teacher. The lessons I design always get great comments from the teacher and my peers. Also, I am not an incorrigible stick in the mud. So I suppose I ought to stop worrying about how I'm going to do in the classroom.
